The Prestige rune is a semi-rare runestone that can be used to cast several Ancient Magick spells, such as Prestige Barrage, Prestige Quake, Prestige Flash and Prestige Eruption. Players can use rune or pure essence on the Prestige Altar, located in Diligence. The altar, and island, are only accessible in player-versus-player worlds, therefore resulting in the Prestige rune being classed as an extremely rare item. Currently, only eleven players have prestige runes, which has resulted in the market value of these items to be at a rather high price of 1,455,232 gold pieces per runestone.
