Leafy plants are a species unique to the Feldipitius Jungle and are enormous plants which are distant relatives of the flytraps which can be found on Karamja.

They are a very unique species due to the fact that they are the only species apart from the jade vine which can be attacked and will attack you throughout all of Gielinor. It can also be noted that where jade vines grow and become carnivorous after being allowed to turn this way, leafy plants are fixed as carnivores and their status cannot be controlled.

Spread throughout the jungle, they are unavoidable for the traveller, and cause constant threats due to their acidic bite. If you are infected by plant acid it should be noted that it is more dangerous than being poisoned as it does not wear off over time, but will kill you unless you are cured. It also lowers your defence and strength, so you will be less likely to defend yourself against the other natives of the jungle and will be unable to move rocks blocking your path, effectively trapping you.
