Hello RuneScape! We'll start off straight away with the biggest change we've made to the game mechanics in a while - the change from hitpoints to lifepoints and constitution. For all of the reasons outlined in this blog, we're sticking with the change. However, if you prefer, you can now go to the graphics tab and change the life points from 10x to decimal points. We intitially thought this would confuse some people so that's why we've made it an alternative rather than the only way to go. Now onto the main content addition, which is of course Shattered Heart. Several other methods of getting rocks have been added to most skills so now more or less everything is covered. Construction rocks will now appear in your inventory if this is possible. If not possible, as with all skills, you will receive a message telling you a rock has been placed on the ground. This, as with getting rocks at all, can be turned off by talking to the archaeologists in Varrock Museum. We've also added some extra rewards every ten times and at the 50th time you complete the statue. So now there's no reason to not go and and get skilling! Bye!


Experience Lamps[]

Every tenth time you complete the statue from Shattered Heart, you will receive an xp lamp giving 1,000 times the amount of statues you have made. For example, on the tenth statue it will give 10,000 while it will give 100,000xp at the 100th time. However, these lamps can only be used on skills of an appropriate level and won't be given out at all if the player has no skills high enough.

Dahmaroc's Robes[]

The 50th time you complete the statue of Dahmaroc, the archaeologists will tell you they've found Dahmaroc's robes and give them to you for all your hard work. The robes consist of a hat, robe top and robe bottoms, gloves, boots and cape. They provide several very useful bonuses while skilling. Firstly, they have some high defensive bonuses to protect the wearer while training. Secondly, they reduce the wearer's weight to make them even faster. This only applies when the entire set is worn - reducing weight by 15kg. Thirdly, the robes provide a 1.1x times constant bonus to training. This bonus only applies when wearing the full set and cancels out other bonuses, like sacred clay equipment. In the spirit of non-violence, the robes have very weak offensive bonuses - as shown in the table below (which displays the stats for the whole set combined):
