Abandonment is a prayer from the befallen prayer book that requires 95 Prayer to activate, and some other achievements. Abandonment is an offensive prayer that directly affects the player opponent of the user. It will not work on NPCs. When activated, it will make the opponent of the user unable to teleport in any way whatsoever (this includes teleports, teletabs, ectophials, all enchanted jewellery and any other special teleporting items) while their health is below 45% of their maximum. For example, an opponent of the user's HP level is 900. When his health drops below 405, the only way he will be able to leave the fight is by eating then teleporting or running.
Usage[]
This spell is often used in legitimate deathmatches or other circumstances of PvP, for example, in lures. It is normally used when a player is fighting another player and they suspect that their opponent is on low food, and thus, won't be able to get away. It is also useful while "clanning", as this spell affects all the people who are attacking the user.
Appearance[]
This curse is not a passive one and therefore has an obvious activation visual. As long as the prayer is on, the opponent/s of the player will have a light purple barrier around them, that looks similar to when someone does a normal teleport, only less significant. Therefore, if the prayer is being used unfairly, the other player can tell.
